The office, workspace but not only …

back to blog

Imagine a place where every day is different, where every interaction is an opportunity and every space is a source of inspiration. That place is the office.

Much more than just a workspace, the office is a dynamic ecosystem where sociability, creativity and culture intertwine to create a unique environment.

Why not take a look at the importance of this place and its impact? 👀

A hub for socialising

Connecting to work better

Have you ever noticed how a simple coffee break can boost your day? It’s no coincidence. Interaction between colleagues in the office plays a crucial role in productivity.

Informal exchanges, shared laughter and spontaneous advice create a climate of trust and support. An environment where everyone feels valued and listened to is conducive to professional fulfillment and also encourages more effective and innovative collaboration.

Why organise office events?

Barbecue evenings, creative workshops, outdoor team building…

These events are not just moments of relaxation. They strengthen the bonds between team members, cultivate a spirit of camaraderie and allow everyone to discover each other in a different way than over a cup of coffee ☕

At La niche? 🐶

At La niche, every opportunity is a good one to get together!

Every Thursday becomes a Thursday and allows us to get together at the end of the day. But also breakfasts that bring together all the members of @The Swamp coworking or barbecues as soon as a ray of sunshine decides to make its appearance in Belgium ☀️

The art of interior design: a cradle of creativity and innovation

The importance of design ✨

A well-appointed office is like a blank canvas ready for the finest creations 🎨

Bright colours stimulate the mind, open spaces encourage exchanges, and relaxing corners invite reflection. A meeting room equipped for brainstorming, a reading corner filled with inspiring books, and above all, plants everywhere! Greenery provides a breath of fresh air, reduces stress and improves concentration.

Your office layout is designed to spark ideas and nurture innovation in every corner ✨

Pet friends in the office 🐾

Yes, you read that right! Bringing your dog to the office is much more than just a cool trend. The presence of pets can reduce stress, improve mood and even encourage active breaks 🐶

A survey conducted by Securex in 2019 showed that 60% of Belgian employees believe that the presence of pets in the office improves their quality of life at work. What’s more, 50% of respondents say that pets help reduce stress and improve overall mood 🤩

Another study conducted by the Haute École de Namur-Liège-Luxembourg found that 68% of employees find that breaks to look after their pets promote moments of relaxation and socialisation between colleagues, strengthening team cohesion 💪

At La niche? 🐶

Here in the office, the atmosphere is one of creation. Plants, decorations, team photos, a sunny terrace (with an extra view over our beautiful city of Namur ✨), places to take a break and get together, and a good coffee machine ☕

But above all, we’re not called La niche for nothing! As you can imagine, we can bring our four-legged friends (well, especially our dogs) with us to work 🐶

And what a luxury! Not only does it bring good humour to our days at the office, but it also goes down a treat with our customers, who receive a welcome like no other!

As you can see, the office is much more than just a place to work. That’s why it’s important to pay special attention to it. So make sure you decorate the space as efficiently as possible, share time with your teams and, if you can, welcome your four-legged friends 😉
